I am very happy with this long sleeve base layer Merino wool shirt. It’s very comfortable - not at all scratchy like some wool shirts. It’s not too thick or too thin, and works really well as a base underneath other layers such as a sweatshirt or jacket. The other thing I like about it is that it is moisture wicking, and odor resistant.
This fit well and seems well made. The material doesn't feel as "luxury" as some of the more expensive brands, but it performs as advertised.
This product fits exactly to size. It's more comfortable than I expected for wool. It is, however, wool so expect a tiny bit of "itchyness". This is so minor that I think you would get used to it within a day. Cleaning seems to be straight forward. Warm wash ( I'll probably do cold ) and air dry flat. Marino wool is infamous for losing it's shape at 100% non-blended so take this seriously. All in all a very nice base shirt for my camping layers.
Every day use T-shirt that i can wear year around.. They also offered me a feee pair of socks (very nice)
I ride mountain bikes, hike and ski. I've been looking for a base layer that can last without the weird odor from poly base layers. The wool is soft too w/o the itch. I usually wear a Large, but bought this XL which I would suggest going a size higher.AFTER A WASH: I would avoid the dryer... :/ or get the next next size up...
