Not boot socks, too thin, but nice socks for shoes

Some other reviews mentioned about the elastic being too tight at the top. Might try cutting off the top and see how that works.
My foot is narrow and have to make sure the boot is tight enough so the sock doesn't slip around on hilly terrain.
I find these socks are great for everyday wear but I don’t think they are thick enough for hiking or long walks.
