The shirts are very comfortable and breathe great for both exercising or just wearing all day.
This is my second order of three 200g short sleeved t-shirts. The first order of three t-shirts were given to my son who loved the soft, luxurious and warm t-shirts. I am now an avid fan of Merino Protect wool clothing based on its affordability, durability and fantastic customer service.
For the past 4 weeks I have been testing my newly purchased Merino Protect wool clothing to validate them for my 49-day hike France and Spain in early May through June, 2025.
Now back from my extended trip...the t-shirts were excellent choice to take. I only took two t-shirts, six Merino Protect toed socks (3 back-up pairs), a half zipper long sleeve, and a wool vest (yes, I purchased all of these Merino Protect clothes, some at full price and some on sale). I did take a light SD down sweater for colder days. The MP products held up every day use with no issues. The t-shirts kept me cool in sun and warm when cool - perfect merino wool functions. At end of June, the t-shirts had NO fraying or holes. Overall, I highly recommend MP products. Now I must justify why I need more MP products!!
I am currently wearing the new black 200g t-shirt and their light-weight toed socks. Each day when I go out for my long daily training walks, I layer with a 250g Merino Protect long sleeve half zipper top over the Merino Protect 200g t-shirt, a Merino Protect vest, and a (not Merino Protect) light weight down sweater. If it is raining, I wear a Gore-Tex jacket over the down sweater. This week, it has been in the low 40s to low 50s in Seattle area I felt warm in my new layered configuration.
Don't hesitate to purchase your Merino Protect clothing. At this writing, they have a sale on so it makes their merino clothing very affordable. Another selling point is their outstanding customer service responds to all my queries, Merino Protect is a rare gem in a crowded outdoor clothing segment.
Well made, well sized and good-looking. What more could you want?
